Frequently Asked Questions
What if I have a tape, but I wasn’t in the band?
We may still want it. If you, or MKEpunk, can get in touch with the band and they grant permission to release it, then we’ll consider adding it to the site.
Our demo tape was included on a discography that is still in print, can we put the demo on the site?
Unfortunately, no. We want to focus on releases that are no longer in print. If we find out that a release that has been submitted to the site is, in fact, in print, we will promptly remove it from the site
I have a cassette or record and don’t know how to convert it to MP3. Do you still want it?
Yes. We have a small group of volunteers who can convert them to release on the website. Just get in touch and we can make arrangements. Conversions can take a few days or a few weeks, depending on the schedules of our volunteers.
How do I get my material added to the site?
