Brian Morrison and I put out this record on our short-lived record label. Punk Planet gave it an amazing review but it was the first time I heard the “emo” label applied to music that was formerly considered pop-punk. I’ve learned to just accept such things.

I saw Slurr many many years ago at The Globe… I cannot believe how good their music still sounds after the genre turned on its head again and again.
